Entzian Enterprises, LLC is a full service residential, home and commercial landscape, lawn maintenance, and irrigation contractor and Dog Guard® invisible fencing provider located in Southern Maryland since 1983.   We are fully licensed, bonded and insured.  Our Maryland Home Improvement Commission license number is #97343.

We are also licensed with the Maryland Department of Agriculture (license #1840), since all contractors who apply pesticides and insecticides to your property are required to do so. Our employees are covered under Maryland Workman's Compensation, a contractor requirement in Maryland.  Our employees  also have certifications from the National Concrete Masonry Association (NCMA) and Interlocking Concrete Pavement Institute (ICPI).

Entzian is now offering Dog Guard® Out of Sight Fencing

Dog Guard® is an underground, single wire, electronic fence system installed as a complete loop along the entire perimeter of your property which could include certain portions of your yard, pool or garden. Your dog is safely restricted within your yard, while not being allowed to flatten your gardens or swim in your pool.

Next one might ask… How does it work?

A transmitter is installed in the garage or basement and it sends a harmless radio signal through the underground wire to the small receiver on the dog's collar. When the dog nears the wire, an audible warning is heard, while at the same time giving the dog a mild static pulsation, similar to a shock from a doorknob yet unpleasant enough that the dog will quickly learn to avoid it.
